Attititude of Gratitude;

Over the course of time, God has proven Himself faithful over and over and I trust Him now when things aren't so easy, for He has never let me down, for His Word is true.

"Lord, I lift all those whom You have called to pray and intercede in these evil days. Those who have need, those who are ill or lacking financially, or relational problems, Lord, bring peace where there is strife. For we know Your Spirit cannot live where strife dwells."

“Lord I ask that You not only meet these needs, but that You will show us who You really are, in the midst of our painful circumstances. Open our eyes so we may see with new eyes, and reveal those hidden areas of our lives that are not right with You. I pray that we will walk with pure hearts before a holy God, as I end this week of praise and gratitude, Lord I ask that You take us onto new places that we have never been before, in Jesus' Name I pray..amen"

My heart is overwhelmed,

twith gratitude today, that 1) my pastor wasn't hurt seriously when he fell last night. I am also thankful that God provided this opportunity for my husband Chris, for he has a good chance on getting hired at a local resturarant. He has been unemployed for almost two years and it's been pretty tough. 3) I am thankful for my health, for many are in fraile health, or even dying. 4) I am thankful for truth. Truth of God's Word, truth from error, and spoken truth amidst silence. 5) Last, but certainly not least I am thankful for the avenue of Facebook and Blogs, where I can share just a little bit of what God has given me with others.

What am I thankful for today?

1) Today, I am overwhelmed with gratitude of God's grace and mercy, that when I fall, He's always there to pick me up and dust me off.
2)Today, I find myself so grateful with one more day with mom.
3) Today, I'm thankful that the sun is shinning so brightly and the birds are back, because their sweet melody brings such joy to my heart.
4) Just for today, I am thankful that we have what we need, just for today..
5) And, I am so thankful that I'm working, it's a real answer to prayer.

These are what I'm thankful for today..

Day of Rest,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKLR3sqlGy8&feature=related

What I am most grateful for today;

1) I am so grateful for my salvation, and for the sacrifice Jesus made for me on the cross.

2) For those special times of prayer, when the house is quiet when it's just Him and I.

3) I am thankful that I got a chance to sleep in this morning, for those days seem to be less and less frequent these days, so I very much appreciate those times when my body can rest..

4) I am thankful for Mom sharing her special memories with me, for each one has become treasures beyond price.

5)What a blessing it is to have a comfortable home, with not just room for mom, our daily needs met, not to mention God knew ahead of time that we would need a handicap provisions such as a shower for her long before she actually moved in..

Yes, we truly serve an awesome God!!!

A Week of Praise and Thanksgiving!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIh50tQGtg0&playnext=1&list=PL5183A5B61AD48E5D

God is, oh so good, isn't He??? If we are honest with ourselves, we have more things to be thankful for than we are willing to admit.

In life, it may find it easy to grumble and complain over the simplest of issues. Not getting the promotion we were promised? Our clothes are outdated? Not enough sleep? Family members don't act like they're suppose to. Husband's don't show enough appreciation? Wives don't show enough respect? And this one is probably the most popular of our day, 'never enough money to make ends meet!'

But no matter how we feel, God's Word commands us to give thanks in everything!

I've been going through a pretty deep valley, but no matter how I personally feel I know God is good and He is faithful which brings me to this week of Praise and Thanksgiving.

I want to encourage all those who may be going through a tough time, to give either a testimony to the goodness of our God, or a favorite music video that we all can experience for one week.

During this week of Thanksgiving and Praise I will share with you five things I am thankful for to start off the day, though I can't promise it will be in the morning, I do promise to share five things each day that the Lord has personally blessed me with for that day..

I hope you join me during this week of praise,

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today's 5 Blessings:
1) I am thankful for today the privilege of caring for my elderly mother towards the end of her life. It was what I've been praying for, and God answered.
2) I am thankful for today the health of of my two grandchildren, for many babies aren't born with robust health as these two precious ones..
3) What I am also thankful for today is those who faithfully pray for me and my family during this time.
4) I am thankful also, for God's Word that contiually draws me closer to my King and grants me the wisdom I need each day.
5) Lastly, I am thankful for rich tasting coffee I'm blessed with each morning as I open my Bible and pray.
